Nags Head Productions

Nags Head Productions is a new Hampshire based theatre company, established in 2018. It has been set up as a platform for new writing, and Glasgow '14 is the company's inaugural production. Future productions will all have to meet the following criteria:

new writing – never previously performed

casting of a maximum of three actors (who may each play multiple roles) – this restriction is intended to ensure strong opportunities for actors, and stimulate inventiveness in playwrights

the only restriction on the nature of the plays being that they are strong stories – they can be comic or not, contemporary or not, historic or futuristic. Just so long as they are good!

Its founder is Neil Gwynne, who has been chair of the Plaza Theatre in Romsey for seven years (and Artistic Director before that).
